Over the last 12 months, Drfit Media has been working with the West Gippsland Catchment Management Authority, South Gippsland Landcare and GippsDairy on a media project which focusses on Corner Inlet.

The project looked at the Inlet from a stakeholders perspective and reinforced the message that all users along the waterway and up in the catchment were interconnected.

 

As part of the process, the Agencies ran a Farmer and Fisher Day where farmers were taken out to the fishing grounds, and in return, fishers were then taken onto the farm.

 

There’s interesting things happening above and below the waves.  Corner Inlet has experienced changes to its seagrass meadows and scientists are trying to work out why.

Floating around in the middle of the Harbour, Drift recently covered the third round of the East Coast Regattas.  Here’s the highlights from the weekend’s racing.
The Farr 40 NSW State titles were hosted at Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron and serve as a lead in to the National titles, held on the following weekend

Automobility takes Tanya Clarke on a Hotlap

Drift Media recently worked with Automobility- taking Tanya Clarke on a hotlap of Sandown in a V8 Racecar.

Tanya is wheelchair bound, but it didnt stop her reaching speeds of over 200kmh in Jeff Watter’s Number 96 VS Commodore.

Drift Media has recently been working with Automobility- a local Victorian business which specialises in customised wheelchair access vehicles.  The conversions are amazing, and give people with mobility issues a chance to gain some independance….awesome stuff!
