Chasing the light at the 2012 KA Moth Nationals

Events

Drift Media was involved at the 2012 KA Moth Nationals, held at Mornington Yacht Club in January.

After working with sail company Zhik on the 2011 World Moth Sailing Championship at Lake Belmont (NSW) in 2011, Mornington was a different story.

Big winds, and a big swell, did not deter the competitors……All up, a great week of racing.

We were engaged to shoot and edit Daily Highlights as the regatta unfolded.  Dan Thomas has put together a fantastic compilation of the event.

Paradise Blown Exclusive Screening

Events

On 19th April, the crew at RPS opened their doors and had an exclusive screening of “Paradise Blown”- a windsurf adventure doco about  two blokes from Melbourne who designed and built their own touring windsurfer, and then toured the islands of Fiji.

It was a case of BYO chair as over 30 people attended to watch the doco,  drink some beer and eat some pizza.
